We take the necessary precautions and measures to ensure our employees, contractors and visitors are safe at all times on site. This includes maintaining a safe place of work which minimises the risks and hazards for employees, as well as any others who may be affected by working operations and activities. Our commitment to this was recognised by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), in 2023 achieving gold status for the third consecutive year.

We’re continuously evolving, finding new and innovative ways to keep our employees, contractors and visitors safe and in good health. The importance of getting our employees involved with health and safety decisions is immeasurable. We’ve been working to grow and evolve our culture by introducing new ways to keep communication open and ensuring concerns and suggestion are listened to and acted upon.

We introduced Safety Champions across our sites with the aim of maintaining an excellent health and safety culture and keep our working environments as safe as possible at all times. This initiative involves teams from across the business working together to keep their respective areas safe, as well as sharing ideas and possibilities for improvement. For us, involving our employees in health and safety is of the upmost importance, and it’s an integral part of continuous improvement across our business.
