Our Bulks team at Teesport recently discharged its largest single calling corn vessel with a volume of 57,800t the ST. Sofia.
Since the beginning of the contract in 2016 our Bulks team have improved productivity by 263% through investment in three electric Liebherr cranes capable of lifting up to 140t, eco hoppers capable of loading a lorry in as little as 90 seconds and continuous training of our skilled workforce.
The three Electric Liebherrs have not only increased our discharge capability but have also delivered an annual reduction of approximately 373.34 tCO₂e per year, contributing to the decarbonisation of our Tees landside operations.
