A new access control system will be implemented in conjunction with the new Automated Gate at Teesport that will require all HGV drivers and visitors to swipe their cards at one of the gate kiosks.
The new access control system will allow alerts to be sent out to the card holder when the induction requires updating, therefore reducing time wasted being re-directed from the gate to the pass office.
This card will hold a ‘preferred language’ field that will translate the Gate Kiosk screen into the holders preferred language.
We have recently introduced a new HGV Driver induction for the Unitised operation. All drivers will be required to go through this and will need to be issued a new Driver Access Control Card in order to access the Terminal and Auto Gate from the 29th July 2019. Drivers that do not have a new Access Card will be refused entry from this date. The new induction can be found at the following website: https://www.intasite.com/kiosk/pd-ports-teesport/.
Once on the induction website you will be asked to login or create an account on the induction system and once logged in select the HGV Driver Induction for truck drivers and General Visitor Induction for any other visitors.
What do I need to bring with me to collect my card
Once the induction has been completed you will be given the choice of how you would like to receive confirmation of your completed induction. This can be printed, by e-mail or by text. You will need to bring your proof of induction with you when you come to collect your card.
Cards can be collected from the Teesport Pass Office (Mon to Sun 07:00 – 19:00) or TCT2 Service Desk (Mon to Fri 06:00 – 22:00).
