A vacancy has arisen for an experienced, dynamic full time Accounts Payable Manager at PD Ports within the Transactional Finance team.

 

Location: Queens Square – Head Office, Middlesbrough.

Working Arrangements: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hybrid working available).

 

The five main things our Accounts Payable Manager will be working on are:

  • Ensuring the accounts payable function is operated accurately, efficiently and to agreed timescales.
  • Overseeing of accounts payable processes from input to payment, ensuring that processes are being adhered to across the business.
  • Understanding the procurement/purchase procedure. Implementing changes as required to improve the service provided by the accounts payable team to the business.
  • Review and monitor unmatched cash payments. Review, monitor and report on accounts payable and procurement KPI’s.
  • Checking payment runs, compiling and reporting statutory reportingfor payment practices and performance.

 

We are seeking someone who:

 

  • Has a proven ability to supervise and motivate staff, with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar Accounts Payable Manager role.
  • Is a well organised team player.
  • Has strong communication skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude to problem solving as well as forward thinking.
  • Has the ability to liaise confidently with all other departments at all levels.
