Did You Know…?

PD Ports have launched their Vehicle Booking System (VBS). As of 1st July 2019 it will be a requirement to have a valid VBS appointment to access the container terminals.

Calendar of marking July 1st as the date that the VBS will become a requirement

All unit bookings must be linked to a truck appointment, which needs to be made through the VBS.

If you do not have a valid booking and appointment, or your information does not match the records, you will be asked to exit the terminal, and resolve the issue with your office.

In order to assist the users of the VBS we have created a number of tutorial videos that can be accessed via our website:

How Do I Access the VBS?

To access the VBS you need an account. If your company hasn’t already registered for a VBS account please contact us at gate.automation@pdports.co.uk and provide us with the following information:

  • Company name
  • Company address
  • Company phone number
  • Name of VBS user
  • E-mail address
  • Contact phone number

The VBS is a web-based application that can be accessed from any computer or mobile device at the following link:

Where can I get more information?

There is an FAQ section on our website with information about the VBS:
