Covering 190 acres, Groveport is an inland port complex on the River Trent boasting 9 berths with sea access via the Humber Estuary.
Located only 3 miles from the UK’s motorway network, Groveport can provide a number of port services including: chartering, ships agency, stevedoring, warehousing and logistics.
The team at Groveport has extensive experience with numerous cargo types including steel long products, hollow section and tubes, steel plate and strip, forest products, dry bulks, bags and pallets and scrap metals. Since the late 1980s, Groveport has been leading the way in the handling and distribution of steel long products, making it the UK’s premier port for this cargo type.
In order to provide customers with all aspects of their cargo handling and storage, Groveport offers 19,200sq m of covered warehousing with craneage, 41,000sq m of covered warehousing and surfaced open storage areas totalling 450,000 sq m.
