Publication scheme

The purpose of a publication scheme is to make sure that a significant amount of information is made available without the need for anyone to make a formal request for information.

In consultation with other police forces, key areas of information that the public may require, are identified and form the basis of our classes of information.

Our publication scheme provides information on this website or by hard copy with applicable charges. Any charges will be assessed in accordance with the Freedom of Information Fees Regulations and where applicable applicants will be notified of any charge before the work commences. Where a charge is made, costs and the reasons for making them will be made known.

Other organisations may hold the copyright of material requested. For material where we own the copyright, it may be reproduced free of charge in any format or medium for research, private study or for internal circulation within an organisation. Consent would need to be obtained where the copyright was owned by a third party.
