PD Ports has an exciting vacancy working at PD Port Services as a Warehouse Supervisor, predominately based at the Billingham Site.
The overall purpose of the role is to lead a team of administrators, to support the operations team and deliver a first class service to our customers and consumers. The main duties are to manage a team of operatives, complete all required tasks and to support the Operations Team to deliver the contracted logistics service to our customers.
The successful candidate will have experiencing of:
- Managing a team and understanding process and working in line with company procedures and policies
- Be able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Be competent in prioritising tasks/activities
- Have the ability to resolve day to day operational issues efficiently in order to drive performance and productivity upwards
- Be competent in IT skills including word and excel
- Possess good problem solving skills
