PD Ports have a rare and exciting vacancy available working at PD Port Services as a Warehouse Senior Supervisor, predominately based at our Billingham site.
The overall purpose of the role is to assist the Operations Manager in providing a first class service to our customers and consumers in line with service level agreements.
Applicants need to be effective communicators and have the ability to oversee loading and receipt of product, whilst ensuring health and safety procedures and company policies are managed accordingly.
Candidates should have extensive experience of:
- Working in a FMCG environment
- Performance management
- Resource planning and allocating duties to meet the needs of the customer
- Health & Safety processes including risk assessment and safe systems of work
- Coaching others
- IT packages such as Excel, Word and Outlook
- Managing change and implementing new ways of working
This is a challenging and rewarding role so candidates must therefore be capable of demonstrating the ability to manage effectively to ensure consistency and also have the ability to meet deadline targets, as well as being practical, participative and flexible.
