The Role
A vacancy has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join our Venator Pigments contract based at Hartlepool.
Working hours will be 12 hours per day, 06.00 am – 18.00 pm or 18.00 pm – 06.00 am on a four on four off shift pattern, Unloading and loading PD logistics trailer with finished palletised product and packaging, identifying, receiving and storing of inbound goods.
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for general forklift and warehousing duties at all PD sites, taking new production from the shunting area, identifying, receipting and block stacking within the main warehouse. Within the role the successful candidate will be required to complete the following duties which will cover all general warehousing duties, housekeeping, sampling and supporting with stock taking.
An understanding of the warehouse packed goods operations would be advantageous. Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures is essential. Preference will be given to accredited RTITB applicants, although full training will be given.
