The Company
PD Ports, based in North East England, is one of the UK’s major port groups backed by a multi award-winning logistics business, specialising in portcentric logistics.
The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for receipt and issue of stock. They will operate counterbalance forklift trucks, reach trucks and remote device terminals, whilst also being responsible for housekeeping and general warehousing duties.
Warehouse Operatives must be highly motivated, comfortable with working alone or as part as a team and can be flexible to meet customer needs.

The Candidate
The candidate should hold a counterbalance forklift truck licence and knowledge of warehouse management systems would be desirable. Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety procedures is essential.
