PD Ports, one of the UK’s major port groups, has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and collaborative Warehouse Operative to join our welcoming and friendly team in Stockton-on-Tees.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for receipt of stock, issuing of stock with the use of FLT Reach Trucks and PPT Trucks and maintaining general house keeping. Ensuring that all tasks and schedules are met, and stringent quality standards are adhered to. Please note that whilst this position is based predominately at Billingham, there may be a requirement to work at other PD sites.
Working hours will be 40 hours per week over two shifts, and flexibility is required to support business needs to ensure high levels of contract delivery are maintained.
To apply for this Warehouse Operative role, you will need to be highly motivated, comfortable working alone or as part of a team, and flexible to meet customer needs. You will also require knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety procedures. In addition, RTITB accreditation would be advantageous, although full training will be provided. An understanding of warehouse-packed goods operations would also be ideal. Also having a Reach Truck and PPT license would be an advantage.
