PD Ports, one of the UK’s major port groups backed by a multi award-winning logistics business, specialising in portcentric logistics is looking for a full-time Warehouse Operative in Stockton-on-Tees.
The role comes with a generous salary and benefits package.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the overall purpose of the role is to provide supervisory support to a team of Warehouse Operatives and deputise in their absence. Whilst ensuring health and safety practices are adhered to and contractual needs are met and exceeded.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
• Provide day-to-day supervisory responsibility for the warehouse team
• Maintain excellent standards of health and safety, hygiene and product integrity within the workplace
• Ensure all goods are received, stored, controlled and dispatched in line with standard operating procedures
• Attention to Detail
To apply for the position, you should have a standard driving licence and a counterbalance forklift truck licence. You will also need a good knowledge of warehousing and warehouse management systems.
