A vacancy has arisen for a full time Dock Operative at PD Ports within the Bulks Department.

Location: Bulks, with a requirement to work in both Teesport and Hartlepool as required.

Working Arrangements: 12-hour shifts (rotation).

The four main things our Dock Operative will be working on are:

  • Working as a team to operate a variety of cranes, mobile plant and other loading equipment.
  • Undertake the safe loading and discharge of various cargo from vessels.
  • Help the business achieve its growth targets.
  • Operate a safety-first philosophy.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Can comply with safe systems of work, risk assessments, policies, and procedures.
  • Can work under their own initiative or as part of a team.
  • Is an effective communicator.
  • Has a full driving license.
  • Dock Operative experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
