A vacancy has arisen for a well organised, reliable, and flexible full time Assistant Operations Manager to form part of our future growth and succession planning at PD Ports within the PD Shipping and Inspection Services team based at Erith.

Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday 9-5 and weekend cover on a shared rota basis. This role does require regular office attendance.

The five main things our Assistant Operations Manager will be working on are:

•Compliance.
•Cargo Superintendence.
•Ships Agency.
•Cargo Operations.
•Accounts.

We are seeking someone who:

•Has experience of working in the shipping industry essential.
•Is self-motivated, flexible and reliable
•Has strong organisational skills.
•Has good communication skills.
•A full clean driving license.
