The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Team Leaders in managing a fast-moving, constantly developing operation and resolving day-to-day operational and resource issues in our specialised warehouse. There may be occasional requirement to work in one of our other warehouses, to meet the needs of the business demands.
Duties of the role include overseeing predominantly outbound operations. General office duties include loading and receipt of produce, ensuring correct storage methods and procedures are adhered to. As well as responsible for instructing, coaching and developing the warehouse team. Other duties will include:
- Manage Risk Assessments
- KPI creation and reporting
- Managing Safety Database information
- People, Stock and Health and Safety Management
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have a Grade C or above in English and Maths. They will have their own transport; a full driving licence is required. As well as experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
The successful candidate will have WMS Experience, an understanding of logistics and warehousing knowledge.
As well as experience in operating in line with BRC expectations. The candidate will be required to operate machinery at height using a high-level order picker licence. However, training will be provided if necessary.
As part of the role, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and great interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport at all levels.
Skills required as part of the role are, excellent people skills, problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong organisational skills and professional attitude. The successful candidate will have the ability to use own initiative. As well as experience of working within a busy and fast-changing environment
