The Role
PD Ports, one of the UK’s major port groups backed by a multi-award-winning logistics business, specialising in Port centric logistics and steel distribution, is currently seeking an artic LGV driver in Groveport.
The role comes with a favourable pay and benefits package. An hourly basic pay of £13.99 per hour, with overtime paid after 8 hours up to 12 hours at £18.36. Overtime after 12 hours will be paid at £24.47. A total of £26.00 per night out payment and Parking Paid.
The Candidate
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Drive an artic LGV vehicle on steel and container distribution nationwide.
- Conduct pre-use vehicle checks, load securing, and accurate completion of paperwork.
- Work with an excellent attitude towards customer service and health and safety.
To apply for this role you must hold the relevant licence, driver’s CPC card. You must also have:
- At least one-year’s proven experience.
- Good levels of health and safety awareness.
