The Role
PD Ports is looking for an artic LGV class 1 driver to join our Felixstowe team. The successful candidate will undertake curtain-sider work and carry out container deliveries with nights out included each week. This full-time, flexible driver role comes with a generous salary and benefits package.
On occasions, there will be some container deliveries as well. It would be useful if you had some experience and knowledge of the London area. We use TOPS on the go. Training can be given if you have no experience with this system.
To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
• Driving an artic LGV vehicle five days a week, days including nights out available in line with EU rules and regulations
• Conducting pre-use vehicle checks, load securing, and accurate completion of paperwork
The Candidate
To apply, you must hold the relevant licence. You must also have:
• A driver CPC card
• At least one year of proven experience
• Good levels of health and safety awareness
