The Company
PD Ports is a leading UK ports business offering end-to-end supply chain solutions, employing over 1,300 people in the UK. With headquarters based in the North East of England, PD Ports owns and operates the UK’s third largest port by volume.
The Role
We are seeking candidates to work as part of a team to operate a variety of operational equipment to undertake the safe discharge and loading of cargo from vessels within the LoLo, RoRo, Rail and distribution operations, and help the business achieve its growth targets whilst operating on a safety-first philosophy.
Full training will be provided, and therefore previous experience is welcome, but not essential.

The successful candidate will be committed to a Safety-First philosophy and able to comply with safe systems of work, risk assessments, policies and procedures. The Company will provide full training through our nationally accredited programmes, ensuring employees have the right skills to perform their role. Successful candidates should be able to work under their own initiative or as part of a team, as well as being an effective communicator. A full driving licence is essential.
