The Role
Are you a time-served Electrician looking to join a leading UK Port Operator? PD Ports is seeking an experienced, qualified Advanced Electrician in Middlesbrough to carry out maintenance work on all building and site electrical items. This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious company, and you’ll also have the opportunity to explore flexible working arrangements.
The purpose of the role is to ensure all electrical equipment within the port environment is serviced and maintained as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
If you were already working for us in this flexible role, here are some of the things you would have done this week:
- Responded to breakdowns and diagnosed and repaired all aspects of electrical equipment throughout the site
- Carried out new electrical installations across the site, working to BS7671
- Worked outside in all weather conditions and at heights.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will hold a professional qualification and will have finished a formal apprenticeship, with relevant experience, preferably within a heavy engineering environment. Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
