Immingham
The Port of Immingham is situated on the South bank of the Humber Estuary and is
one of the top three UK ports by volume. PD Ports is one of the main port service
providers in the region offering a diverse range of services and facilities.
PD Ports' stevedoring service handles circa 700,000 tonnes per annum through dedicated
terminals with priority berthing arrangments. Diverse handling equipment and experienced
teams enable loading, discharging, storage and redistribution by road and rail,
of a full range of cargoes. These cargoes include forest products, minerals and
project materials and steel. Complete storage solutions include over 50,000 m2 of
covered warehousing and several acres of open storage. This includes ancillary cargo
services ranging from secure compounds to computerised stock control and bar coding.
